Today at FRES we were honoured by a visit from Dr. Judy Halbert and Dr. Linda Kaser. Judy and Linda are leaders from the Networks of Inquiry and Innovation http://noii.ca/, and they visited FRES as friends of the school to see and celebrate the work we are doing.
During the visit, several students led conferences to share our Dukwala’mas project, their reading and writing. Judy and Linda were truly impressed with our students!
Judy and Linda’s visit reminded us all what an amazing place we live in, and the power of connecting learning to local knowledge and resources.
